Ibrahim Osman Agrees To Join AJ Auxerre From Brighton On Loan

The latest news surrounding Ghanaian footballer Ibrahim Osman, who is signed to Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League, is set to join AJ Auxerre after reaching an agreement with Brighton. The 20-year-old winger will join them on a loan deal with an option to buy for €16 million. Osman has completed medical tests and is set to travel with his agent to finalize the move, having rejected several other bids in favor of Auxerre.

Osman joined Brighton from FC Nordsjælland for €19.5 million in the summer of 2024 but has not yet made an appearance for the club. He spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Feyenoord in the Dutch Eredivisie, where he made 32 appearances, scored four goals, and provided three assists, including seven appearances in the UEFA Champions League.

After returning to Brighton following the expiration of his loan in May 2025, Osman is now poised to gain further experience in Ligue 1 with Auxerre, potentially marking a significant step in his career development. At the international level, he has earned two caps for Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars.
